Choose a track. Each one is a series of lessons with worked examples and downloadable templates.
The lessons are organised as tracks, and each track is a short course to be read in order. Planning and Scheduling covers estimating man-hours, critical path scheduling and pre-outfitting. Shipyard Fundamentals covers reading a general arrangement, drydock and berth planning, and earned value on a yard project. The MS Project track teaches the software the way a shipyard scheduler uses it: task dependencies, constraints, task types, and how to open and share .mpp files. PMI-SP is a study track for the PMI Scheduling Professional exam, and the Superyacht Project Management series follows the phases of a yacht build.
The superyacht series uses an illustrative project, not a real vessel, so the figures in its examples are teaching numbers. Downloadable templates are listed under Documents.
Start at the top of a track and work down. Lessons link to the articles that go deeper on the same topic.
